Questions, answered straight
What people ask before they book
Everything below is what we would tell you on the phone. If your question is not here, ask and we will answer it the same way.
01 Do I need to provide water or power?
No, the truck carries its own water tank and power, which is the whole reason we can work in a driveway, on the street, or in an office parking lot with nothing from you but access to the vehicle.
02 Do I need to be home during the detail?
No, and most customers are not home for it. Leave the car unlocked or hand over a key in the morning, and it is finished when you get back. For interior work we do need the car open; for exterior-only we just need to reach it.
03 How long does a detail take?
An exterior detail runs one to two hours, an interior one to three, and a full detail two to five depending on size and condition. Paint correction is a full day. You get a realistic window when you book, not an optimistic one.
04 What areas do you cover?
A 25-mile radius from Broomfield: Westminster, Arvada, Thornton, Northglenn, Louisville, Lafayette, Superior, Erie, Boulder, Longmont, Golden, Denver, and the rest of the metro. If you are unsure, ask, the answer is usually yes.
05 What do your prices start at, and why “from”?
Exterior from $99, interior from $169, full details from $249, coatings from $299, correction from $399, maintenance from $130 a visit. “From” is the coupe-or-sedan price; bigger vehicles carry more surface and more time, so they cost more. You get the exact number before we start.
06 Do you detail boats, RVs, motorcycles, or classics?
Yes, by individual quote. They are different jobs with different materials, so we price them after seeing photos rather than pretending one number fits.
07 What happens in bad weather?
Colorado weather gets a vote. If rain, snow, or high wind makes the work impossible or pointless, we reschedule to the next open slot at no cost. A covered garage or carport usually means the job can go ahead regardless.
08 How do I pay?
Card, cash, or the payment link in your booking. Payment is on completion, after you have walked around the car.
09 Are you insured?
Yes, Bluebird is insured and bonded, and every vehicle is worked on by a trained detailer, and coating and correction work is only ever done by a specialist.
Still deciding?
Tell us the vehicle and what is bothering you about it. We will tell you what it needs.
